After graduating from Damien in 2005, I attended Amherst College with a double major in English Literature and Philosophy, with a minor in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought. I received my Bachelor's degree in 2009 and returned to Damien to serve as an Assistant Debate Coach before attending Emory University School of Law.

I received my Juris Doctor from Emory in 2013. My time competing and coaching debate inspired me to pursue a career in government and advocacy. Following law school, I served as the Google Public Policy Fellow at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights in Washington D.C. The bulk of my work was focused on advocating for universal access to telecommunication services. I subsequently served as the Broadband and Telecommunications Policy Fellow at the Aurora Institute, where I lobbied for the modernization of the U.S. education system through expanding support for broadband in schools and libraries as part of the FCC's E-Rate program and President Obama's ConnectED initiative. I returned to California as a fellow in the California Department of Civil Rights. My greatest accomplishment while there was assisting the California Fair Employment and Housing Council in drafting the fair housing and fair employment regulations for the state (2 CCR §§ 12005 — 12271).

I returned to Damien to serve as Assistant Director of Debate following the passing of longtime Damien Director of Debate Chuck Ballingall. I transitioned to education full-time in 2022 by launching the debate program at Damien's sister school, Saint Lucy's Priory, before taking over as Director at Damien in 2024.
